Glazed Entry

A glazed entry is an all glass entrance door, or one with an aluminum or wood frame. Usually one or more panels of glass are placed adjacent to it.

Depending on the length of wall available, a double door may be used with sidelights positioned at each side of the door opening.

Building code restrictions may influence the allowable size of the glass in the glazed entry. A glazed entry helps create a feeling of welcome and openness by allowing views into the office from a public area. Security during business hours is enhanced because personnel can see the person in the corridor before allowing them in.
